About 3D floor plans

3D floor plans turn a technical 2D drawing into a furnished, full-color view that any buyer or renter understands instantly. Real estate agents, developers, homebuilders, interior designers and homeowners use them in property listings, new-build brochures, unit-by-unit sales packs or simply to picture a renovation before committing.

The standard deliverable is a top-down view of the whole home with the roof removed, showing furniture, flooring and soft shadows, supplied as a high-resolution JPG or PNG. Depending on the service, you can also get an angled perspective version, one plan per floor, room labels with areas, or a print-ready PDF. Artists work in SketchUp, 3ds Max with Corona or V-Ray, Blender, Revit or specialized floor plan tools. To start, they need a dimensioned plan in PDF or DWG, or even a clean scan, the orientation, a room list and your preferences for furniture style, colors and floor finishes.

On hi-3d, floor plan services live in the Architecture category. Browse them, compare portfolios, prices and delivery times, then invite the artist you like. Upload your drawings to the project conversation; the artist sends a first preview so you can check walls, doors and layout, and revision rounds take care of furniture swaps or color tweaks before the final files land in your inbox, ready to publish.

For a development with many units, look for an artist who can keep the style perfectly consistent from one plan to the next, because a uniform set looks far more professional than a handful of beautiful but mismatched images. For a single listing, clean and bright 3D floor plans are often all it takes to make the layout click. Browse the profiles and find someone who can give your plans depth.
